May is for PLAY!

May was a fun month for the family, we didn't go anywhere special, but we've had a lot of fun playing and growing.  The kids are just growing so fast, it's almost hard to keep up with.  Emilee keeps them learning and  developing faster than I can keep up with.  Here are some of their escapades!

No home of mine could ever be complete without LEGO's!

They love this bucket, it's all my old Dinosaurs

Two LEGO maniacs! I can't wait till they're old enough for my old LEGO's

Jason's hard hat

My little destroyer of worlds, now builds!

Jason loves this thing, it shoots the balls out the top and then they roll back down again.

No little boy room is complete without race cars!

The sweetest little mama in the world, I don't know what I would do without my wonderful companion.  I can't even take care of the kids for a day by myself...

Wonder Woman and her invisible jet!

Jason loves his little baby

My little princess for real, but she dresses up for pretend

Funny thing is both of them fit in this box with the lid on... not that I've tested it...

"I'm a super, daddy!"

Got my Zorro mask on

Jason loves music and dancing

And so does Lydia

A new game! Push Jason around on the push cart!

A new castle and catapult, I of course had to instruct them on the physics :)

This is for purely scientific teaching purposes...

Lydia's turn!

The kids loved it

Summer Fun at the New Bailey Home

Our kids love our new place, they love the space and they love the backyard!  We've had a lot of fun getting them out and letting them go crazy!  Here are some pictures from May:

Grandma Wager got them a "Sit-and-Spin" and boy did they love it.

Both my little helpers couldn't wait for me to finish putting it together.

Jason caught on pretty quick

Spinning is fun, sharing... not as much :) but they do a pretty good job.

You can't be a true Wager grandkid till you ride four-wheelers!

Jason's ready for the real deal!

They both love the swing set in the back year, and the huge trees give plenty of shade on hot days.

My little helpers are always ready to help mom and dad do yard work! Let's hope that continues for the next 20 years :)

Our New Place

So after a month of looking high and low for a place to call home, we finally found one in Arlington, TX.  It's a nice little place in a quiet neighborhood in South Arlington.  Only about 15 minutes from my work.  It's 1600 sq.ft.  with a great backyard.  It came with a little swing set that the kids go crazy over.  Lydia and Jason couldn't have been more excited to have their own rooms!  Lydia kept saying, "look at my bed! Look at my bed!"  Jason just grunted excitedly, which pretty much translates to "eh, it'll work." :)

We had tons of boxes and it took a few weeks to really put everything away, but it's nice to have a place of our own.

The kids were all smiles for weeks!

We have too many boxes.

Way too many boxes!

It was like Christmas in April for the kids!

Dress up time!

Jason's ready to play video games with Daddy!

My Little Graffiti Artist

So Lydia got some nail polish and thought it was so great.  She liked painting her toes and her fingers, but wanted to be able to do it all by herself.  She did pretty decent for a three year old but when she felt it was no longer a challenge, she decided to try her hand at art.  We had let her outside to play with her nail polish thinking, "what harm could she do outside?..."  Apparently graffiti comes naturally for her.  Check out some of her custom tags!

Lydia's 3rd Birthday

My little squeaker turned three years old!  Couldn't believe she got that big.  We had a nice family party at my parent's house.  The whole gang turned out and there was lot's of fun to be had.  We had plenty of cupcakes and ice cream.  Lydia had a really good time.

When family came over she would bring them right to her cupcakes and say "TADA!!"

Isabella helped Lydia to open presents

New wings! Awesomeness!

Moved in with the Bailey Parents & a New Bike

So I (Kelvin) got my final job back up in Grand Prairie (Dallas) with Lockheed Martin.  This off course meant we got to move from where my wife would term the "sticks" back to "civilization."  We weren't sure where we were going to settle down, so my graciously allowed our whirlwind family to move in.  They only broke a few things, some of which I brought back from Spain... :( but my parents still love us so I guess it's okay.  It was a little cramped quarters for a while, but we were really glad that we had a place to be while we were in transition.

Not only were we in transition, but I was on travel during the week to Lexington, KY where Lockheed has a site on an army base.  I was helping to layout a new building they are going to be building soon.  Lot's of eating out and lonely nights, but it was a great opportunity.  The poor wife and kiddos were left to fend for themselves while looking for a new place to live.  Lucky that my parents were taking care of them too! :)

The backyard is the best place to play, less to break!

We decided to get Lydia a new bike for her birthday.  We went out and picked it out and she picked it all out herself... you can't tell because it's all pink :).

Some people just never grow up :)

The kids had a great time getting reacquainted with the cousins.

Easter Egg Hunt (Lockheed Martin)

Lockheed Martin does an annual Easter egg hunt for all the kids and relatives of the employees.  We took Lydia and Jason out that morning even though it looked like it was going to rain.  It turned out to be a lot of fun because lot's of people didn't show up due to the gloomy weather.  The kids made off like bandits and got tons of candy.  They had a blast, here are a few of the pictures.

Little squeaker running like she was going to run out of candy!

Who's that Jason?

That is one big bunny...wait is that candy!?!

Just keep the goods coming candy bunny!

Gotta catch 'em all!

Eyes on the prize!

Does this one have the good stuff?

Oh yeah, made off like bandits!

The Easter Bunny!
