Fathers Day!!

Kelvin's dad asked him to help on a remodeling job on Sat and Kelvin was happy to help. It was only supposed to take a few hours as they were just moving a drain in a shower. When they got there it was a different story. They ended up spending ALL DAY on the job and were so tired, hungry and thirsty by the time they got home. I went shopping most the day for fathers day gifts and had to run around to 4 different stores to find everything I needed. Roads were closed everywhere and a big game was going on also in our area (Texas Rangers stadium is super close to us, that's the pro baseball team for those who don't know) which caused TONS of traffic and more roads closed. I am very pleased that I have been able to drive around and not get too lost. Maybe that comes from getting more exposure to the place and I am starting to feel a lot more comfortable with everything. So when he called and said that they were going to be all day, we decided that we should just go to his parents place for the night and then go with them to church on Sun. When the guys got back, I laughed so hard! Kelvin looked like his hair had gone gray. They were filthy. I wish I had my camera to take a picture but once again I had forgotten it. (I really need to do something about this forgetting the camera thing.) We had a good night and church was really nice. Brandon and Lisa also came to church so the whole family was there on fathers day. We had a great dinner and root beer floats with cheesecake for dessert. The guys all liked there presents and it was all in all a great day.

I bought "Ben 10" dvd's for him and he thought that that was the coolest gift ever!

Here is the cutest boy in the world with his presents. A really nice multi-format DVD writer, 2 "Ben 10" DVD's, and a big Kit Kat bar.

What his parents got him. This also included a pint of chocolate ice cream and he also thought that was a pretty awesome gift as well.

Brandon got the red one and after they both opened the gifts, they realized that they got the wrong colors! Kelvin goes to the U of U, color-red, and Brandon graduated from BYU, color-blue and there is a lot of teasing that goes on regarding these schools and their colors. His parents didn't plan it that way, but it was pretty funny none the less.

Brandon and Isabella. On Sunday, Isabella was in the toy room alone when all of a sudden, we heard a shrill cry. It was obviously a cry of pain. He jumped off of the couch so fast and even beat Lisa to the door to make sure his little girl was alright. It is so sweet to watch this big tough guy melt with his baby! He is really a good father.

We got Kelvin's dad a copy of Bill O'Reilly's book "A Bold, Fresh, Piece of Humanity". He was really excited and had wanted to read it for a while. Maritza was thinking of getting it for him for Father's Day but didn't have a chance to order it in time. That was a good thing otherwise he would have had 2 copies.

And here is one of my dad's "gift's" from my mom! A pink tie with pink polka dots. As many of you know, having something pink and being a Wager man is completely taboo! My mom went shopping for a tie and didn't find anything, but found this tie and thought it would be a great gag gift. Way to go mom! It was perfect.

So to all those Father's out there, keep up the good work. We love you and need you!

Well, geez, what am I? Chopped liver? I noticed you talked about being with the whole family on Father's Day, but that family only included Lisa, Brandon, and Isabella, and my parents. I see how I rate...sad day...and I've been telling everybody how you are my favorite sister-in-law...;D
