Another Trip to the Zoo

Obviously the zoo is one of our favorite things to do (probably because it's one of the only things to do).  But we got some really good pictures of some of our favorite places and will miss them when we move.

The cute and playful otters.  They are adorable.

The Dragon! We usually end up staying here talking to the dragon for a while.

Okay, the hippos are SUPER COOL!!  They are very active in the afternoons and will jump out of the water and play with each other and the onlookers through the glass.  It's really fun and the Lydia loves it.  I think it's her new favorite exhibit.

This picture is not zoomed in.  The Lion frequently walks around and will walk right in front of the cage, about 4 feet from where we stand.  Here he was sitting about 6 feet from us.  It's really cool.  Although, you do have to be careful because when he gets annoyed by spectators, he will spray you.  A poor girl about 10 or so got sprayed pretty good after this picture was taken.  She was a little traumatized poor thing!

It's the same way with the tigers.

She always has to sit on this statue whenever we pass it.

The train! An instant hit.

This guy just stays so quiet and sweet through our time at the zoo.  He really enjoys being outside and seeing all the animals.

And what would a visit be without feeding the ducks or fish.
