First Time at Church

We took Lydia to Church for the first time on Sunday and everyone was so excited to see her. We got a lot of compliments on what a cute baby she is and even more comments about how she looks like Kelvin or I. It was funny at all the different reactions because one person came up and said that she looks just like her mama and then 2 min later someone said she looks like her dad. A few min after that another person said she looks like me again. So who knows, we have just decided that she looks like Lydia and left it at that. Some days she will looks more like me and others it will be her dad in her. No one will know until she grows up I think. Anyway, she really did well at church. When we were in sacrament meeting and it got really quiet for the prayer, Kelvin and I looked at each other and thought "Oh no! This is gonna be bad!" Sure enough, she started to cry! Little stinker. Mornings are her fussy time and she let that be known on Sun. Everyone in Primary loved her though and it was fun to hear about how some of the guys in Priesthood were reacting to the baby when Kelvin took her. There are a few that are also having babies in a few months and they were really excited to talk with Kelvin to see how it is being a first time dad and get to see her. One guy even got to hold Lydia. His wife is having a baby in a month and he is so in love with his baby girl already and was so awed at the sight of Lydia. You could tell that he is so excited and concerned to be a dad but Kelvin talked him through a few things and seeing the baby really helped him I think.

Lydia all ready for church. She is actually wearing one of my dresses when I was a baby. I think it is so cool to have this dress to be passed down and it is so cute on her too. When people found out at church that it was my dress from when I was a baby, everyone loved it even more and thought that it was the coolest thing to have that.
